How it works

Application review
After applying, our Talent Team will schedule a call to discuss your application and why you’d like to join My Ohana.

Interview
A 45-minute interview with a member of the Nursery Management Team, where we get to know all about you, your experience, your values and passion for childcare.
For senior roles, you'll also have an additional interview with a member of our Operations and People Team.

Practical assessment
You’ll spend time in one of our nursery rooms so we can see you in your element with the children, and so you can feel the My Ohana warmth for yourself.

Offer & onboarding
If successful, our Talent Team will be in touch within 48 hours to start your DBS and background checks and welcome you in.

Childcare experience or a recognised qualification (for non-apprentice roles).
A commitment to safeguarding
Every role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and safer-recruitment checks, the welfare of every child comes first.

FAQs
Do I need experience or qualifications to apply?
Not always. We hire qualified Level 2 and 3 educators, but we also offer apprenticeships where you earn while you train, so a warm heart and a willingness to learn can be enough to start.
How soon will I hear back after applying?
Our Talent Team aims to respond within 48 hours.
What should I wear to my interview?
Wear something comfortable that expresses your style. Sensible shoes are recommended, as you’ll be interacting with children.
Is parking available?
Most of our locations have parking available. Please check with the nursery team.
