Find your dream role at My Ohana
Our mission and purpose
At My Ohana, our purpose is simple: to lay the foundation for lifelong learning during the critical years of a child’s development.
We believe that both children and families deserve childcare they can truly feel good about. That’s why we’re redefining what great childcare looks like - setting new standards and putting exceptional care at the heart of family life.
At My Ohana, we stand together, learn together, and grow together.
We nurture strong bonds, celebrate differences, and encourage everyone to be their best. Through open communication, trust, and respect, we create an environment where everyone can thrive.
Be Inspiring
-
How can we do this:
Always try your best – You are a positive influence to everyone around you and you are engaged in everything that you do.
You are unique – Always be YOU! Everyone makes up our family and we encourage everyone to show us their true selves and character to create the perfect environment for positivity and forever learning.
Be Curious
-
How can we do this:
Never stop asking Why – The more we ask WHY and show our curiosity, it allows us to learn more, try new things and become more innovative for our children.
Go down the slide – Yes literally! But also, figuratively – we can go down a slide so many ways, and how we experiment, should be the same. Try different approaches, different methods, try something new. Children are the perfect role models for us as adults for this, because they are instinctively curious and their willingness to discover is infectious.
Have courage – sometimes it is scary to try something new, to ask questions, to question things but have the courage and give it a try. Find your inner bravery, no doubt it will pay off!
Be Together
-
How can we do this:
Collaboration & Teamwork – We have the most supportive environment, where we work together, utilising our individual strengths to achieve shared goals.
Open communication – We strongly encourage transparent, honest and respectful communication to build trust and understanding as a team.
We are an inclusive community – We are proud to have a culture where everyone feels valued, respected and empowered to contribute their ideas.
