David Lloyd clubs is a British multinational sports, health and leisure business that runs health clubs and gyms across Europe, mainly in the United Kingdom.
In 2011 the company asked us to open and operate a new nursery in their David Lloyd York health club. Their plan was to create a vibrant, reliable and highly reputable facility that could be used by both club members and families in the local community.
From concept & design
We acted as the lead consultants on the design and layout of the nursery, working closely with their contractors to create a child-centric environment for children aged from birth to 5 years.
To mobilisation & launch
We have significant expertise when it comes to designing and delivering bespoke childcare services for our clients. This particular project required us to create a nursery from scratch, including fully equipping the space, recruiting and training the childcare team and setting up systems and communications channels for prospective parents. Our project management team did so well at keeping everything on track that we were able to open the nursery in September 2012, ahead of schedule. Our operations and finance teams then worked together to ensure a smooth launch.
