Background
Overall, female colleagues account for the majority of our team in every quartile. These stats are due to that fact that woman are the predominant gender within the childcare industry. Additionally, females are more likely to identify with childcaring as a career (versus a job) which results in increased levels of education, certification, and career advancement planning. We have undertaken a number of diversity and inclusion efforts to ensure that our colleagues reflect the communities in which we live and work. We are also examining how we might better engage and target potential male candidates.
