What’s your covid exclusion policy?

If your child or anyone in your house displays symptoms of Coronavirus (Covid-19) you must inform us and follow the latest government guidance for any isolation.

Are you doing temperature checks?

We do, although we appreciate that children may have a raised temperature for many reasons, however in the current climate we feel it’s morally the right thing to do to try and protect everyone in our care.  Therefore if your child has a temperature above 37.8 please keep them at home and we look forward to welcoming them back soon.

Are there any requirements for mask wearing?

All colleagues are required to wear mask’s when in communal areas, meeting and greeting parents and visitors and when conducting tours of the setting. Parents are requested to wear a mask at drop off and collection.

Do you conduct regular lateral flow testing?

Yes, all colleagues are required to test twice weekly. Members of our central support team also test prior to visiting a setting.

What happens if my child displays symptoms while in care?

You will be contacted immediately and will be required to come and collect your child and arrange for a PCR test.

What happens if there is a confirmed case in the setting?

We follow NHS track and trace guidance and if your child is identified as a close contact you will be informed immediately. You will then be required to follow current isolation guidance.

Can I come and visit the setting to look round?

Yes, however we do ask that you call to book in advance so that we can ensure everyone’s safety. You will be required to wear a face covering, wash/sanitise your hand on arrival, adhere to social distancing and confirm you are symptom free.
